Navy Deputy Commander-in-Chief visited “Dalzavod” Ship Repair Center”
On May 28, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy for Armaments, Vice Admiral Igor Mukhametshin visited JSC “Dalzavod” Ship Repair Center”.
During the working trip, he got acquainted with the capacities of the leading enterprise in the ship repair industry of the Far East, which works in the structure of the Far Eastern Center for Shipbuilding and Ship Repair, examined the technological embankment under reconstruction.
Igor Mukhametshin visited the large anti-submarine ship “Marshal Shaposhnikov”, on which active work is underway in the Tsesarevicha dock to deeply modernize the ship and equip it with modern types of weapons, communications and navigation.
“In December of this year, after modernization, we plan to take “Marshal Shaposhnikov” on sea trials.We reported to the Navy leadership that the shipbuilders will make every effort to return the ship to the Navy combat unit on time and with new capabilities,” said the Executive Director of JSC “Dalzavod” Ship Repair Center” Yuri Bespalov. – This most important Navy order has become a landmark for us, and will serve as a model of our work and its quality.
