The ice-class tanker “RN Primorye” was certified by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and received an approval.
After the completion of the tanker construction at the “Dalzavod” Ship Repair Center”, on the order of“Rosnefteflot”, a subsidiary of “NK “Rosneft”, sea trials were carried out, the operation of the main and auxiliary mechanisms, devices, equipment, automation systems and radio navigation equipment were checked. The vessel meets all environmental and safety standards: it has a modern ballast water treatment system and a special fire extinguishing system.
The tanker’s deadweight is 3.1 thousand tons, length 88.9 meters, width 13.6 meters. The vessel can simultaneously transport four types of oil products. The autopilot allows to automate the navigation process, which significantly reduced the workload on the ship’s crew. Comfortable conditions have been created for the crew – most of the cabins are single, there is a sauna, a gym with a set of exercise equipment, a spacious galley, laundry and storage rooms on board.
“RN Primorye” is the company’s second order completed for “Rosnefteflot”. The “RN Sakhalin”,the tanker, handed over to the customer in 2018, has already completed over 50 voyages to deliver oil products to the Sakhalin Area. It is planned that the new tanker will also be integrated into the logistics chain for transportation of fuel in the Far Eastern District, which will help improve the reliability of oil products supply in the region.
JSC “Dalzavod” Ship Repair Center”, is a part of the “FESRC” group of companies, has a dock complex that is unique for Russia, which includes two dry and two floating docks. The company carries out a wide range of shipbuilding and ship repair works.
The company plans to increase the portfolio of orders, including those through intra-group cooperation with the “FESRC”plants. A particularly promising area is cooperation withthe “Zvezda” SBC, created in the city of BolshoyKamen by the Consortium, headed by PJSC “NK “Rosneft”.
