Tanker “RN Sakhalin” received a certificate of the Maritime Register of Shipping
JSC “Dalzavod” Ship Repair Center”completed the construction of the ice-class tanker “RN Sakhalin”. On January 31, 2018, the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping carried out a survey of the vessel and issued the approval. The protocol of inspection shows that in the process of completing the tanker, the sea trials program was fully completed, the operation of the main and auxiliary mechanisms, devices, equipment, automation systems and radio navigation equipment was tested.
The document confirms the compliance of the vessel with the requirements of the Register of Shipping Regulations. Inspections, testing and final tuning of the ship systems are currently being completed.
– The project on completing the construction of the ice-class tanker was carried out by the “Dalzavod” employeesin full scope, and with high quality, that was confirmed by sea trials and the approval of the Maritime Register inspectors, – Yuri Bespalov, the Executive Director of JSC “Dalzavod” Ship Repair Center” said, – The final stage of sea trials was successfully completed in December last year. Now our company has to complete on time the second vessel of this series – the tanker “RN Primorye”.
“Dalzavod” Ship Repair Center” started the completion of two ice-class tankers in April 2016. These tankers are designed to supply all types of fuel to the coast of the Far East and to fulfill the program of the Northern Sea Delivery. To implement this project, a special technological platform with a quay wall was equipped at the enterprise, and a shipbuilding department was added at the Company.
